Krispijn Bertoen is Senior Advisor Responsible Investing & Impact Investing at MN, the fiduciary manager for the third (PMT) and fifth (PME) largest pension funds in The Netherlands. He is responsible for advising clients on the strategy and implementation of both PMT’s and PME’s impact investing programs and for further integration of ESG aspects in private markets products, such as real estate, private equity and infrastructure. Bertoen has a background in banking gained at ABN AMRO and Deutsche Bank. In 2010 he refocused his career on sustainability in finance and impact investing, working as a partner in emerging markets finance for consultancy firm Steward Redqueen and as Director of Social Impact Factory. In 2019, he joined MN to expand its impact investing programmes and further integrate ESG factors in private markets products. Bertoen has since built extensive experience in developing impact investing strategies for clients, including impact measurement and management strategies.
