François Barker is Head of Pensions at Eversheds Sutherland. He acts as legal adviser to corporate sponsors, trustee boards and pension providers on the full range of pensions issues including international arrangements, defined benefit plan funding and de-risking, and defined contribution plan governance. He is actively involved in the development of pensions law and policy through his work with bodies such as Pensions Europe, the Pensions and Lifetime Savings Council in the UK and the Confederation of British Industry.
