Bob Swarup is founder of Camdor Global Advisors. He has a wealth of experience and is a respected international expert on macro dynamics, investment strategy, alternatives, ESG and regulation. Swarup was formerly a partner at Pension Corporation, a leading UK-based pension buyout firm, where he oversaw alternative investments, was Chief Risk Officer and ran thought leadership. He has also served as Senior Investment Advisor to the UK’s Pensions Regulator and has sat on numerous industry and investment boards. He has written extensively across mainstream and trade media, including Money Mania, a thematic analysis of the last 25 centuries of financial crises. Swarup has a PhD in cosmology from Imperial College London and a MA (Hons) in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge.
