Roberto Marsella has been Generali Real Estate’s Head of Portfolio Strategy & Real Estate Partnerships since February 2018, responsible for managing all portfolio strategy and real estate research related activities and identifying new investment opportunities through partnerships. Marsella joined Generali Real Estate from CDP Equity, where since inception he was Investment Director and Head of Business Development. He began his career in New York with Merrill Lynch in M&A and Corporate Finance, before becoming Managing Director in Investment Banking with UBS and Deutsche Bank. Marsella is a graduate of Bocconi University and holds a master’s in business administration from New York University’s Leonard Stern School of Business. Over the years, he has served on the boards of directors of several listed and private companies.
