Patrick Kanters is Managing Director Real Assets of APG Asset Management (APG), with responsibility for all real estate, infrastructure and natural resource fund activities. Prior to joining APG in 2005, then ABP, Kanters worked for ING Real Estate for 11 years. From 2008 to 2017 he has been member of the Board of Steen & Strom. In addition, he has served as chairman of the management board of INREV, is a member of the executive board of the European Public Real Estate Association, GRESB, and ULI Europe Executive Committee, where he is also a trustee. Kanters holds a master’s of science in real estate, project management and housing from the Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands and received a post doctorate degree in real estate from the University of Amsterdam. Additionally, he has attended senior executive courses at INSEAD and Harvard.
