Barbara A. Knoflach was appointed as Global Head of Investment Management of BNP Paribas Real Estate in 2015, responsible for defining the strategy for the business line and lead its effective execution through almost 300 employees in eight European countries. Previously, Knoflach held various management and executive roles at various SEB Group companies, which she joined in 1994. After finishing her studies in 1986, she began her career in Deutsche Bank AG’s International Project Financing unit in Frankfurt. In 1991, she switched within Deutsche Bank Group to the Consulting and Research department of the bank’s real estate subsidiary. She has also served as chairman of AFIRE and as a member of the board of the BVI, the German investment funds association.
