Elodie Laugel was appointed Chief Responsible Investment Officer of Amundi and a member of its executive committee in May 2020. She remains Global Head of Institutional Business Development Support. Laugel joined Amundi from AXA Investment Managers (AXA IM) where she worked for 12 years, most recently as was deputy head of the Institutional Client Group from 2014. leading the development of the firm's offering to insurance companies, pension funds, and sovereign wealth funds. Prior to this role, she managed the Solutions Development Unit within AXA IM’s multi-assets investment platform, with responsibility for creating and engineering investment solutions for a wide range of international institutional clients. Within the team, she contributed to the creation of multi-assets funds and derivatives strategies, the design of strategic investment plan for institutional and the development of quantitative tools. She joined AXA IM in 2004 as Financial Engineer and took over management of the Financial Engineering team in 2006. Prior to joining AXA IM, she spent four years as Equity Quant Strategist at HSBC Asset Management.
