Sonia Kataora is Partner, Head of DC Investment at Barnett Waddingham, with overall responsibility for defined contribution investment services. She specialises in providing advice on all aspects of pension investment, including investment strategy reviews, investment manager selection and performance monitoring. She is also heavily involved in conducting DC investment strategy research and development within Barnett Waddingham, aimed at improving standards of governance, encouraging member engagement and designing robust investment solutions. Kataora’s role often sees her give training sessions to new and experienced trustees and company representatives on investment strategy issues. Her current appointments involve advising standalone schemes and master trusts with assets of varying sizes from millions to billions. Kataora is often asked to speak at external seminars.
