Peter Hansson has over 25 years’ experience in the institutional investment sector and is the former CEO of SPK Sparinstitutens Pensionskassa, the pension insurance company for Swedish savings banks, a position he held from 2005 until 2018. Prior, he was CFO of SPK from 1993. In his capacity as CEO of SPK, he was on chair of the board of Tjänstepensionsförbundet, the Swedish workplace pension scheme association, which he represented at PensionsEurope. Hansson sits on the supervisory board of Första AP-fonden (AP1) and Nordkinn Asset Management AB and chairs the investment committee of Barncancerfonden, the Swedish childhood cancer fund.
