Christian Lemaire is Global Head of Retirement Solutions at Amundi, responsible for the development of Amundi’s cross border, multi-employer IORP and assisting multinational group adopt a pan-European approach to managing pension schemes. Previously, as Global Head of Insurance, he structured dedicated long-term investment solutions for European insurers within the Solvency 2. Before Credit Agricole Asset Management’s rebranding as Amundi, he held a number of executive posts within the Credit Agricole group, Special Advisor to senior management; Director of Finance, Strategy and Risks at Credit Agricole Consumer Finance and CA Leasing & Factoring; and Senior Banker in charge of European clients within the corporate & investment banking division. Prior to joining the Credit Agricole Group 16 years ago, he held finance director roles at various companies, one of which he helped to list on the London and Paris stock exchanges. Lemaire holds a master of engineering from the Ecole Centrale Paris and an MBA in finance. He is member of the Occupational Pensions Stakeholder Group of EIOPA.
