Pavan Sukhdev is a sustainability thought leader, an experienced innovator in sustainability metrics, and an influential voice amongst policy makers and institutions focussed on sustainable development. As Special Adviser and Head of UNEP’s Green Economy Initiative, Pavan led the ground-breaking TEEB study between 2008 and 2011 entitled “The Economics of Ecosystems & Biodiversity” and UNEP’s landmark report “Towards a Green Economy”. He continues to support UN Environment and TEEB as Goodwill Ambassador and was Special Adviser to their recent study “TEEB for Agriculture and Food” in 2018.
