Yves Choueifaty

Yves Choueifaty is President of TOBAM and CIO of the executive committee. He is a mathematician with 24-years investment experience and is the former CEO of Credit Lyonnais Asset Management (CLAM). Having spent more than 10 years with CLAM in diverse senior roles including CIO, Head of Financial Engineering and Quantitative Investment Management, Choueifaty left in 2004 and went back to mathematics research. He then founded the Maximum Diversification approach and joined TOBAM in 2005. As one of the pioneers of the smart beta movement, Choueifaty is a frequent speaker at conferences. He is a member of The 300 Club which has 17 members throughout the world and whose mission is to raise awareness about the potential impact of current market thinking and behaviours. Choueifaty graduated in 1992 from ENSAE in Statistics, Actuarial studies, Finance, and Artificial Intelligence.
