Amy Kessler is Senior Vice President and Head of International Reinsurance within Prudential Financial, Inc.'s pension risk transfer business. Along with her team she has closed over USD80bn in international reinsurance transactions since 2011, covering more than 500,000 members of more than 200 pension funds in the United Kingdom, including British Airways and Rolls-Royce. She led the ground-breaking GBP16bn, and largest, captive longevity reinsurance transaction for British Telecom in 2014 and the GBP7bn HSBC equivalent in 2019, the third largest ever transaction of its kind. With 30 years of experience, Kessler was chosen as one of the “2014 Women to Watch” by Business Insurance magazine and was named in Institutional Investor’s “Pension 40” list in both 2014 and 2015. She possesses both capital markets expertise and in-depth insight into the global pension risk transfer market. She is currently leading the launch of PFI’s longevity and funded reinsurance solutions for Canada, the Netherlands and Australia.
