Jean-Jacques Barbéris

Jean-Jacques Barbéris is Head of Institutional and Corporate Clients Coverage and an executive board member at Amundi Asset Management. Barbéris started his career in the directorate general of the French treasury where he served from 2008 to 2012. Between 2009 and 2010 he chaired the European specialist group on climate finance in the negotiations at UNFCCC. He also participated in different studies on the economics of climate change, such as the Jean Tirole report published before the Copenhagen climate change summit in 2009. Between 2012 and 2013, he worked at the French ministry of finance. Before joining Amundi, between 2013 and 20916 he served as an adviser on economic and financial affairs within the staff of the French president. Barbéris graduated from Ecole Normale Supérieure Lettres et Sciences Humaines, in history, and is an alumnus at both Sciences-Po Paris and Ecole Nationale d’Administration. He lectured in advanced economics at Sciences-Po Paris from 2009 to 2012 and is chairman of the French European politics think tank “En Temps Réel".
