Markus Geiger is Head of Private Debt at ODDO BHF Asset Management, which he joined in 2018. He has over 20 years’ experience in private debt and equity, and consulting. From 2014-2018 he was Head of the DACH region at Kartesia, a pan-European credit investor. Between 2006 and 2014 he became a partner at Steadfast Capital (Private Equity Fund), where he was responsible for the origination, execution, and the management of various LBOs. He began his career in 1997 as a management consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton, focusing on corporate finance services for international corporations and private equity firms. Geiger holds a PhD from the University of Cologne and a master’s degree in business administration from the ESCP Europe.
