Frans Verhaar joined bfinance's London office in early 2007 as part of the research and development team where he worked with institutional investors from around the world on mandates and manager search. At the beginning of 2009, Verhaar moved into business development focusing on the Dutch and Belgian institutional Investor market. Verhaar joined bfinance from ING in The Hague where he had been based since 2001, latterly in their fixed income and corporate treasury department managing liquidity, foreign exchange and interest rate risks for ING Insurance Holding. Prior to that, he worked as a portfolio manager for institutional clients with ING Investment Management. Verhaar is a CFA, CAIA and FRM charterholder and holds an MScBA from Erasmus University Rotterdam.
