Sylvie Malécot created Millenium - Actuariat & Conseil in June 2009, which focuses on asset management, asset allocation, portfolio risk analysis, diversification, and market risk modelling for mainly institutional investors. In 2017, she created Millenium I-Research to develop analysis and studies on economics, finance and sustainability. Until January 2018, she was a director at AF2I, the French association for institutional investors. She has over 20 years’ experience in asset management and institutional investment, bond portfolio management in several insurance companies, financial strategy, and ALM. In 2016 Malécot published Bonds Markets: searching the new frontiers of risk, with a preface by Jacques de Larosière, a former president of the IMF, and a postface by Erik Orsenna, an economist and French politician. Malécot graduated from ESSEC in 1985, gained a master’s in law from Paris II – Assas in 1987 and qualified as an actuary at the IAF in 1993.
