Peter Kraneveld is an international pensions consultant at and founder of Prime BV. He splits his time between being an adviser, chairman, teacher, moderator, speaker, jury member and journalist. Kraneveld retired from leading Dutch pensions asset manager, PGGM, where he held posts as Chief Economist and Lobbyist for European affairs. Before that, he worked at the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) in Paris for 15 years on economic and financial matters, notably export financing, export insurance and development economics. His first regular job was with the Dutch ministry of Economic Affairs, where he was initially an analyst of the former communist countries before moving on to research East Asian countries. Kraneveld studied economics and law at the University of Amsterdam and speaks English, Dutch, French and German.
