Robert Parker is the Chairman of the Asset Management and Investors Council and is a senior adviser to the International Capital Market Association. With some 45-years experience, Parker retired from Credit Suisse in 2017, a firm he joined in 1982 as one of the founders of CSFB Investment Management. Previous to that, he worked for N.M. Rothschild & Sons. At Credit Suisse he ran foreign exchange and fixed income businesses from 1982 to 1994, before becoming Chief Executive of the Credit Suisse Asset Management business in London prior to becoming Vice Chairman from 1998 to 2009. He subsequently became a senior adviser to Credit Suisse. His work has covered all aspects of asset management in addition to establishing and running a number of Credit Suisse businesses and joint ventures globally. Parker has both bachelor and master’s degrees in economics from the University of Cambridge.
