Kamarulzaman Bin Hassan joined the Employee Provident Fund (EPF) in 2008 to establish its global real estate unit, which has since reviewed opportunities more than $20bn and secured assets worth more than $7bn of assets in Malaysia, United Kingdom, United States, France, Germany, Japan and Australia.

Hassan started his career as a research analyst in Fima Securities in August 1999 before moving to several other firms in the same capacity until joining the EPF 2008.

He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration – majoring in finance – from Ohio University before obtaining a Master’s of Business Administration (Finance) from Oklahoma City University
