Based in New York, Jim Shore, CFA, is Vice President and Senior Client Portfolio Manager for Kansas City-based, American Century Investments. He is a member of the global growth equity group and is responsible for communicating global and non-US equity investment strategies and results to the firm’s clients and consultants. Shore has worked in the investment industry since 1992. Prior to joining American Century in 2017, he was a founding principal and portfolio manager with Northroad Capital Management. Prior to that, he was a senior vice president and portfolio manager with Lazard Asset Management, and a portfolio manager with Brandes Investment Partners. He holds a bachelor’s degree in political economics from Williams College. He is a CFA charterholder and a member of the CFA Institute.
