James Pearce joined M&G Investments in 2006 and currently holds the position of Director, Fixed Income where he leads the team responsible for originating and executing investments for the UK Companies Financing Funds. Prior to this, he was a director in the leveraged finance team, responsible for asset sourcing, credit analysis and monitoring of investments. Prior to joining M&G, Pearce was a vice president in the leveraged finance team at BNP Paribas, focused on the origination, structuring and underwriting of UK and pan-European financial sponsor backed transactions. Before that, he spent five years at JP Morgan / Chase Manhattan in both leveraged and corporate finance. He holds a BSc in economics from London School of Economics.
