Gil Bar leads our real estate business and product development initiatives in Germany. He is also the Fund Manager of Encore+, an open-ended real estate fund investing in continental Europe.
Prior to joining Aviva Investors, Bar worked at Standard Life Investments where he was a portfolio manager for their €2 billion pan-European real estate funds. Prior to that, he worked at Zecca Properties, with responsibility for pan-European real estate developments and investments.
Bar holds a Postgraduate Degree in Property Investment from the College of Estate Management, University of Reading, and a Diploma from the Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne. He is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors as well as INREV. Gil completed the Investment Management Certificate and is fluent in six languages.
