Abhishek Kumar is a vice president and the lead portfolio manager for emerging markets within the Fixed Income Beta team, leading the Emerging Market Debt team. He joined SSGA in September 2010.
Prior to joining the investment management team, Kumar spent three years at ICICI Bank UK managing global credit portfolios. He holds a master’s in Management from ESCP Europe Paris, a post graduate diploma in Management from the Indian Institute of Management Lucknow and a bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur. He is a CFA charter holder and a member of both the CFA Society UK and CFA Institute.
