Stephanie Schmidt is an executive director at MSCI responsible for client coverage within the index business focusing on asset owners and Consultants in French-speaking Europe and southern Europe. Prior to joining MSCI in 2010, she headed the development of the French institutional clientele at Deutsche AM to promote mutual funds and the hedge fund business of DB Advisors. Prior to that she was a salesperson at French entrepreneurial hedge fund firm, ADI, where she developed the business of alternative strategies in France. Schmidt is French and holds a bachelor of arts from the University of Nanterre, a master’s in finance from ESLSCA and an executive master’s in business administration from ESSEC & Mannheim University.
