Boyan Filev is Co-Head of Quantitative Equities responsible for overseeing enhanced index funds and systematic quantitative strategies within Aberdeen Standard Investments. He joined Aberdeen through the acquisition of SWIP where he was a founding member for the enhanced index team from 2007. Prior to that he worked for State Street Global Advisors as a portfolio analyst responsible for equities progressing to a junior portfolio manager in 2006. Filev graduated with a master’s of science in accounting and finance from the London School of Economics. He also holds a bachelor of science with honours double degree in finance and international business from the University of Bridgeport in the US and is a CFA charterholder.
