David Wickham is a senior investment specialist with Aberdeen Standard Investments responsible for promoting the firm’s multi-asset, alternatives and quantitative investment capabilities. Prior to joining Aberdeen in 2016, he was Director and Chief Portfolio Specialist for emerging markets, frontier markets and smart beta solutions with HSBC Global Asset Management. Before HSBC, he was Senior Portfolio Manager and Head of International Private Markets with Invesco Private Capital, managing the firm’s non-US private markets investment programme. He held a similar portfolio management role prior to this at Insight Investment. Wickham holds a master’s in international relations from the University of Cambridge and a master’s in business administration with distinction from the University of Oxford.
