Lei Lei is Co-Head European Credit Opportunities, Alternatives at Niney One. He is a member of the ECO Investment Committee and is responsible for portfolio management, transaction origination and team management. Lei has 19 years of experience in European performing, opportunistic and distressed credit investing and M&A advisory. He worked in the leveraged finance team at Merrill Lynch for five years and was previously a Portfolio Manager and Managing Director at Oak Hill Advisors (OHA), where he played an instrumental role in the development of the firm’s successful European credit business from 2009 to 2020. In addition to his portfolio management responsibilities, Lei was a member of OHA’s 2.7 $ billion Strategic Credit Fund investment committee and made important contributions to business development, team expansion and fundraising. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
