Colm O’Brien is Head of Index, EMEA at Legal & General Investment Management in its global index funds group. He also acts as a director for both LGIM Japan and LGIM Asia. O’Brien joined LGIM in 2012 to take on a new role as Head of Segregated Index, before expanding his remit in 2015 to be Head of International Index Development. Prior to joining LGIM, he was Head of Indexation at Irish Life Investment Managers. He started his career with Franklin Templeton Investments. O’Brien graduated from Dublin City University in 1997, with an honours degree in business studies and has been a CFA charterholder since 2003.
