Olga Hancock
Deputy Head of Responsible Investment, Church Commissioners for England
Olga Hancock is the Deputy Head of Responsible Investment at the Church Commissioners for England, where she leads on corporate and policy engagement on a range of Environmental, Social and Governance issues. Hancock is also Chair of the UKSIF Policy Committee, and Co-Chairs the Indonesia Investor Policy Dialogue on Deforestation. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability. Prior to joining the Church Commissioners, Hancock led the global pro bono practice at international law firm Simmons & Simmons, with a focus on business and human rights, and protecting community land rights. She also worked with Legal Response International, advising Least Developed and climate vulnerable countries during the UNFCCC negotiations for the Paris Agreement and Rulebook. Before this, Hancock worked as an environmental lawyer in both the private and public sector.
