Last year's inaugural IPE Diversity & Inclusion virtual seminar examined the yawning pensions gender gap that exists between men and women approaching retirement in most of the developed world. Among the causes highlighted were a lack of financial literacy education and financial communications designed specifically for women. In 2024, we explore how we can ensure girls and women get the information necessary to plan for a fulfilling financial life and adequate retirement. And we ask: how can financial communications be made more inclusive so that women feel compelled to engage?
