Dr Gabriella Kindert is a senior banker and investment professional specialising in alternative credit, private markets and the digital transformation in the financial sector. She started her career in MeesPierson where she gained insight in various asset classes, and asset-based, project and leveraged finance. She has held various managerial and global head positions at Fortis Bank, Fortis Investments, BNP Paribas IP, and NN IP. She is currently a non-executive director and supervisory board member of Mizuho Europe. She is also an adviser to the EU on fintech alternative lending projects assessment and a senior adviser to several companies. She is a recognised public speaker on private market investment trends and digital transformation in the financial sector, as well as an associate professor and/or guest lecturer at business schools. She is the co-author of several books and has an MA in history and economics, an MBA in accounting and finance and a PhD in finance in alternative lending.
