Alex Veroude is Head of Fixed Income at Janus Henderson Investors. He has held this position since 2025. In this role, he oversees the global fixed income platform, leading a team of more than 135 investment professionals and managing 181.6bn US$ in assets under management. He is also a member of the Janus Henderson Executive Committee. He began his career as a trainee with JP Morgan in 1997. He spent nine years with Gulf International Bank (formerly Saudi International Bank), running proprietary investment and credit activities. He was with Insight Investment from 2007, holding several fixed income leadership roles, most recently as Chief Investment Officer, fixed income. He received a first-class MSc degree in quantitative economics from Tilburg University, graduating cum laude. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation, speaks five languages at business level proficiency, and has 29 years of financial industry experience.
