Chris Hitchen is Chair of the UK’s 20£ bn Nuclear Liabilities Fund. Until recently he also chaired Border to Coast, the 65£ bn investment manager for local government pensions. He was previously Chief Executive Officer at Railpen, the pension system for the UK railways, Chair of the Investment Committee at Nest, the DC plan with 13 million members, and chaired Pensions UK. He has a strong interest in international best practice and has served on the board of the Toronto-based International Centre for Pensions Management. He is a Chartered Actuary and a Fellow of CFA UK.
