Balduin Hesse is the Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of Frontier Renewables, a specialist investment manager focused on the energy transition. He oversees the management and investment strategy of the firm and its current build to core fund focused on buying, building and operating mid-market solar, wind, BESS and hybrid projects across Europe. He has over 16 years’ experience in the renewable energy industry, having successfully developed, sold and operated projects both in the United States and Europe. He has previously worked in Silicon Valley, Los Angeles, London, Berlin and Frankfurt. He speaks German, English and Spanish. He holds an MBA from INSEAD and a BA from Duke University and MSJ from Northwestern University.
