Olivier Rousseau
Former pension fund executive,
Olivier Rousseau is Former Pension Fund Executive. He joined the French Treasury in Paris in 1986 after graduating from ENA, France's National School of Administration. He worked for 11 years at BNP Paribas in corporate and investment banking in Paris, Tokyo, London, Singapore, Hong Kong and Sydney. He was a Member of the Resident Board of Directors of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development in London 2004-2006 and spent five years as the Regional Economic Advisor for the Nordic countries at the French Embassy in Stockholm. He was Co-Chief Executive Officer of FRR The French Pension Reserve Fund Fonds de réserves pour les retraites from November 2011 until February 2024 and he also chaired its Manager Selection Committee. In June 2019 he was appointed a member of the Investment Board of the Pension Agency of Georgia Tbilisi and chaired it until 30 April 2025. He holds a BA degree from the Institute of Political Studies in Aix-en-Provence, a master's degree in law and a master's degree in economics from Aix-Marseille University. He was the recipient of the 2024 IPE Golden Award for Outstanding Industry Contribution.
