Christoph Gort

Christoph Gort is an Investment Managing Director at Cambridge Associates and a member of the Executive Management and the Board of Cambridge Associates AG. He works together with institutional and professional clients in Switzerland assuming the role of Chief Investment Officer or lead advisor in client mandates related to advisory and implementation of clients' investments and portfolios. He started his career in 2003 at the City of Zurich Pension Fund as a member of the investment team. In 2008, he joined Harcourt Investment Consulting AG as a fund of hedge funds analyst, where he became head of fund of funds research and advised Swiss pension funds and private banks on fund of hedge funds investments. In 2010 Gort was a Founding Partner of SIGLO Capital Advisors AG SIGLO, a Zurich-based investment advisor specialising in alternative investments such as ILS, private debt, drawdown management and impact investing. In November 2024, SIGLO was acquired by Cambridge Associates. He has published academic papers, articles and presentations in the areas of overconfidence, active management, alternative investments and pension funds. He studed economics in Bern, he completed his doctorate with a specialisation in behavioural finance at the University of Zurich in 2007.
