Sebastian Carneiro is Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Solas Capital AG, a specialised investment advisory firm that pioneers financing solutions for decentralised energy efficiency and behind-the-meter assets across Europe. The firm partners with project developers to finance portfolio-based energy transition projects. By bridging the gap between institutional investors and energy efficiency projects, Carneiro and his team channel much-needed capital into decarbonising Europe's buildings and industry. He was previously a director at the investment advisor to a large European energy efficiency fund, heading one of the energy efficiency investment teams for over three years and being responsible for structuring new investments across Europe. He is a CFA Charterholder and engineer by trade, he is driven by developing innovative investment solutions that accelerate the deployment of green assets and make the energy transition a reality.
