Iancu Daramus is Principal Consultant, Decarbonisation and Private Markets at ERM. He is a sustainable investment specialist, with experience of setting strategy and developing funds in senior asset management roles and of driving positive change at some of the world's largest companies through stewardship. He previously worked for macro specialists Fulcrum Asset Management as their Head of Sustainability, for LGIM, the UK's largest investor, as engagement lead for energy and mining and for pioneering climate finance think-tank Carbon Tracker. An award-winning analyst, he researches, speaks and publishes regularly on climate risks and opportunities, including as one of the lead authors of the world’s go-to sustainable investment qualification from the CFA Institute. He won the Rising Star award at the 2022 Sustainable Investment Awards and was selected for Brummell Magazine's Ones to Watch 2023 list of 30 under 40 in the City. He studied philosophy and public policy at the London School of Economics and the University of Essex and is currently working on Green herrings, a book about the energy transition.
