Daniel Gallagher is a leading expert in the political economy of climate-related transition. As Senior Lead on Climate Change at the UN Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI), he leads PRI's positions on climate change and supports PRI’s institutional investor signatories in managing climate risk and transitioning towards net zero. Gallagher formerly held senior positions in government and in research. His doctoral research at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) advanced new interdisciplinary knowledge on the shifting laws and politics of transition through the lens of the global water crisis.
