Alan Siow
Co-head of Emerging Market Corporate Debt, Ninety One ,
Alan Siow is Co-Head of Emerging Market at Ninety One. He is also Corporate Debt and Co-portfolio manager of several strategies, including Emerging Markets Corporate Debt, Emerging Markets Investment Grade Corporate Debt and All China Bond. Earlier in his career, he served as a vice president in fixed income at Citigroup Salomon Smith Barney and began his professional journey at Deloitte in Australia. He worked at Alchemy Special Situations, focusing on European distressed debt and special situations investing and was previously a portfolio manager at BlueBay Asset Management, specialising in Emerging Markets. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce with first-class honors in Accounting and Finance from the University of Western Australia and an MBA from INSEAD in France. He is also a qualified Chartered Accountant in Australia and New Zealand.
