Andreas Lavstrand is Director Global Pensions ALM at Volvo Group. He has global responsibility within the Volvo Group for pension related asset and liability management, ensuring consistency and harmonisation across geographies and has held that position since 2016. He is a board and investment committee member of ten different retirement plans across five countries and across the full spectrum of plan types, DB, DC and different hybrids. He is Chairman of the board of the two largest retirement trusts, Sweden and US. He has extensive experience and a proven track record in driving change and improvement projects, cross functionally and cross border, delivering tangible and significant value for the firm and other stakeholders. Including DB to DC transitions in over 10 countries and liability settlement exercises in 5 countries. Including both introducing and exiting fully delegated mandates, eg OCIO. He previously spent eight years in Corporate Finance, also at the Volvo Group, where the focus was mainly on capital structure, financial policy and credit rating related matters.
