Joseph Mariathasan is Contributing Editor at IPE where he writes a regular monthly column and articles on investments and finance-related themes. In addition, he is a partner at Peak Sustainability Ventures, which focuses on scaling up early-stage climate-related technologies in India, and a director of GIST Impact, a science-based, data-driven firm that helps companies and investors understand the size of their impacts on natural, human, social and produced capital. Mariathasan sits on the board pinBox Solutions, which focuses on eradicating poverty, and the advisory board of open banking platform, Moneyhub. He is also an adviser to life science and health technology specialist firm, bitelabs. Mariathasan has a first degree and a doctorate in Physics from Oxford University and has obtained a number of professional qualifications during his career.
