Maria Mercè Clarmunt Bielsa is Professor in the Department of Economic, Financial and Actuarial Mathematics at the University of Barcelona. She is Principal Researcher of the research group recognised by the Generalitat de Catalunya "Actuarial and Financial Modelling" and President of the Scientific Committee of the "Observatory of European Complementary Social Pension Plans" of the University of Barcelona.
