Anna Rotkirch

Anna Rotkirch is Research Professor and Research Director at the Population Research Institute of Väestöliitto, the Family Federation of Finland. Rotkirch has also served as demographic rapporteur to the Finnish government. She has published over 200 research articles and 20 academic and popular books. Her current research focuses on reasons for recent fertility decline and has been featured in the Financial Times, The Economist, Le Figaro, El Pais and other media output.
