Lindsey Stewart is Director of Stewardship Research and Policy at Morningstar Sustainalytics. Based in London he works closely with Morningstar Sustainalytics’ engagement services and ESG proxy voting specialists worldwide to deliver insights on how institutional investors, companies and regulators are approaching key sustainability and governance themes in global finance. His career spans over 20 years in investor relations consulting, equity research, and financial reporting and regulation at KPMG and Makinson Cowell. Stewart joined Morningstar in 2022 from the UK Financial Reporting Council, where he was the head of stakeholder engagement. He is a Chartered Global Management Accountant and a CFA Charterholder.
