Chris van der Merwe is a Responsible Investment Officer at Brunel Pension Partnership. He leads on Brunel’s ESG data integration and carbon metrics strategy and is passionate about the role that finance can play in helping to solve the challenge of climate change and create a more sustainable future. He currently serves on the Transition Pathway Initiative Strategic Advisory Committee, FTSE Russell Sustainable Investment Technical Advisory Committee and is a member of the Asset Owner Diversity Charter Working Group. He holds an MSc in Climate Change, Management and Finance from Imperial College London.
