Yuri Poluneev
International Economist and Lecturer, and Former Deputy Head, Supervisory Board National Bank of Ukraine
Yuri Poluneev is Director at Remittance360 Limited. He is an accomplished independent research analyst based in London, with extensive academic and professional experience. Poluneev has authored over 100 academic and media publications, including 13 books on diverse topics such as country competitiveness, the energy crisis, banking and economic security. He has held several senior management positions, including at the International Management Institute in Kyiv, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the Ukrainian Parliament and the Supervisory Board of the National Bank of Ukraine. He has recently been involved with projects including the assessments of the impact of Russia’s aggression in Ukraine on globalisation and geopolitics, on war-related global threats and risks, on Russia’s economic resilience and the effect of sanctions, on the Kremlin’s inner circle politics as well as potential war outcomes. He is the author of the book “The War in Ukraine: Impact on Globalisation and Geopolitics”, London 2023.
Poluneev recent clients include a London-based major financial sector regulator, representatives of global insurance industry as well as projects undertaken jointly with The Ambassador Partnership LLP, a unique international consultancy of former senior diplomats from 15 countries. He has a PhD in international economics.
