Sofia Harrschar is Executive Director and Member of the Management Board at Universal-Investment-Gesellschaft. She joined Universal-Investment-Luxembourg SA as Country Head and Managing Member of the Board of Directors in 2021 and manages the overall strategy of the Luxembourg platform. She joined Universal Investment in 2011 and is Head of Alternative Investments & Structuring. The groupwide product unit covers all aspects of investments in Private Equity, Private Debt, Loans and Securitisations as well as structuring of complex investment projects and their implementation on Universal Investment’s German and Luxembourg platforms. She previously worked at Dresdner Kleinwort Benson and Prime Capital and has more than 23 years of experience in structuring and investment in alternative investments. She earned a degree in business administration at the J.W. Goethe University in Frankfurt/Main where she also received her doctorate in finance.
