Erik Landry
Director, Climate Change, GRESB
Erik Landry is Director of Climate Change at GRESB, the global ESG benchmark for real assets covering 8.6$ tr in real estate and infrastructure value and used by more than 170 institutional and financial investors. He is responsible for GRESB’s research, products, and partnerships about net-zero alignment, climate-related risks (transition and physical), and carbon accounting. He manages a suite of projects meant to, in combination, give real asset managers and investors the tools they need to make informed decisions regarding climate-related risks, advance the state-of-the-art with regards to real asset portfolio alignment with international climate goals, and position GRESB as a leader within the rapidly evolving landscapes of climate-related regulations, standards, and data solutions. He was previously at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology where he led a working group on climate-related scenarios. He currently serves on the Expert Advisory Groups of SBTi’s Buildings project, the PCAF Financing toward Net Zero Buildings project, and the UK Net Zero Carbon Buildings Standard, as well as the advisory board of Asset Impact. He holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Chicago and a Master of Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
